What is BLUESTONEFIST.COM about?
Bluestonefist Creations is the place to find Original Stories and Webcomic adventures that will make you laugh, cry, give good feelings and give you dread (depending on which you read).
Its also a place to check out and buy prints/merch of Digital and Ink Drawings and books of the aforementioned stories (as they become available of course).
What’s the Longer story?
Ever had a dream, or a moment that let your imagination run wild or make you feel a certain way? I’ve had that ever since I was a kid, so much so I used to play “stories” with my siblings to explore worlds outside our own. Even now as an adult its a part of my childhood I hope never dies.
The design of the logo came about when I was drawing up a fantasy map of a land full of orcs and made their monument as a testament of savage strength and determination. At that time it was just called the “Stone Fist”. I ended up loving the design so much I adopted it as a personal logo.
Today Bluestonefist is not just a Drawing, but a starting point to explore those those dream like moments, travel into an expanse familiar yet distant and overall just to have fun.
Okay, yah, sure, but why isn’t BlueStoneFist BLUE?
Ehhhhh… a concrete company beat me to “Stonefist” before I could solidify the name as my own, so I improvised a modification to the name.
I decided on adding blue to the name because it’s a visual opposite to orange (a color of creativity), appending the surreal aspect I hope to achieve in my work. Life’s a bit confusing at times, and it’s both tough to swallow and adds to it’s flavor.
What stories are here?
There’s a few stories currently in the works:
Enjoy the “Slice-of-Life” Llama Sammich about goofy llamas, inspired by the Card Game Sammich! (coming soon)
Join Llarry and an assortment of goofy characters to live and laugh at life’s quirks (Good for most audiences).
Every once and a while, the comics will feature Ink and digital designs from the official Spreashirt store.
In Alice in Wonderado We join Alice as she embarks in the retelling of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale where she chases the elusive White Jackalope across a strange American Wilderness and meets it’s even stranger denizens. It’s great for Alice in Wonderland fans and yet has enough twist and turns to keep you wanting more (and it’s safe for most audiences).
Note that the onsite comic is more for desktop readers (phone readers can have a better formatted comic on webtoons).

In Ratt’s Mischief, we get a (not really) True Story 20 Minutes into the future in an Alternate Universe about a mouse-eared Psycho who learns to live in a world divided between unrest and conformity, his friends who learn to deal with him, and the dark conspiracy of his past. Good for audiences who don’t mind blood, violence, and lots of under the radar humor.
Ongoing but slow until Alice in Wonderado is finished.
About the Creator/Artist
I’m J.L.Trout (aka bluestonefist) and I’m a lifelong Southwestern United States Desert Rat who grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons and playing games with my awesome siblings.
I earned an Associates of Science in Graphic Design from the College of Southern Nevada in 2014 and a Bachelors in Art and Design from Utah Valley University in 2019, during which I started work on Alice in Wonderado to work out my storytelling skills.
I currently working to making comics, illustrations and designs full time so I can sustain myself while helping others take a short break.
I should note that as far as I know, I’m NOT related to the baseball player nor do I endorse cannibalism.
